I Reverse-Engineered NameDrop for Android!

Hi!

Its been a long time since I've posted something on here... worked on a project after a while so sharing it here!

This all started when I was at a career fair and wanted to do some networking. I have an Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra while everyone around me had iPhones of all variants... Apple had announced NameDrop a few years ago and I saw people around me tap their phones together to share their contacts.

In usual Apple fashion, they like to keep their ecosystem within their "walled gardens". So Samsungs, Pixels and other android users couldn't do the same thing.

That was until I reverse-engineered Apple's NameDrop feature to work on Android.

You can read more about the project here.
